Additional demonstrations and experimentation with circuits developed using CPLD/FPGA/μC: configuring target chips using device programmers and performing laboratory measurements.
Most of the circuits presented in CSD are standard, synthesisable for most CPLD and FPGA:

Intel FPGA Cyclone IV and DE2-115 board: Flashing lamp
Xilinx CPLD XC2C256-TQ144-7, board CoolRunner-II: Flashing lamp.
Most of the circuits presented in CSD Chapter 3 canb be adapted to most industry microcontrollers. The Proteus - VSM can alos be used licencing microcontroller families and vendors. A continuation of CSD may be DEE focusing Arduino.
